Jen Wren Boutique started in a small town. A girl with a dream!

Hello, my name is Jen. I wanted to share my story because I believe everyone should reach for their dreams. I have a passion for photography, pets and clothes. My dream became a reality when I found a building for rent in a little small town called Princeton Wisconsin. I had recently moved to the area and thought how wonderful it would be if I could have my own little shop in this magical little place called Princeton. I couldn't believe when I actually signed the lease, and I officially had a building to start my business in. I was so torn because I wanted a photography studio, I also wanted a pet store, and I wanted a boutique. My love for my two golden retrievers Leo and Layla sparked the decision to go with a pet store but also feature cute items Such as candles, jewelry, facial care and more. I enjoyed meeting all of the locals who would bring their pets in and support my store. Unfortunately, the sales weren't enough to help me keep the doors open. I lucked out and the building sold, and I was able to get out of my lease. I didn't want to give up and there was a very tiny building of only 300 square feet across the street available for rent, so I decided I was going to do it and jam myself into this tiny little building. It turned out beautiful I scaled down the pet products and added more clothing. We spent a year getting the building ready inside and outside. After only being open for a month we got the bad news that the building was going to be sold. I wasn't ready to take that financial leap to own the building so I decided to see if the new owner would keep me and they decided they would but unfortunately, they also doubled my rent. Again, my dream was slipping away. We had to take all of the store items and pack them into my garage we didn't have a lot of time to try to get rid of the inventory. As sad as I was, I knew I couldn't keep trying a retail location. I wondered if I could do it in an online capacity. So again, I took another leap of faith, and I opened JenWrenBoutique.com
I have learned so much and am enjoying the process of creating my own website. Now I just need to figure out how to share it with the world so they can see my love of fashion and hopefully my next store will be to share my love of pets with supplies for them.
